Inspired by sports coats from the 1950s. Our 1950s sports coats fabric is woven in Scotland, reproducing from the manufacturer's 100-year-old archives. The fabric is made of high-twisted lambswool, which is traditionally called "Thornproof" because of its resistance to 'snagging', and has a history of being widely used for country outdoors and sportswear.
The collar lining, hair-cloth canvas, sleevehead wadding, and shoulder pads are all selected carefully to help balance the fabric and to help create a timeless suit jacket that can be worn for many years.
