JM MOHAIR CARDIGAN

 

With vintage and current mohair sweaters available on the market, nylon or polyester is commonly used as the core yarn for production, and mohair yarn is twisted around the core yarn. 

Our Mohair Cardigan made under the Joe McCoy label is made using 80% mohair with 20% wool yarn. By using natural fibres for the core yarn it creates a more substantial and warmer cardigan overall. The final raising process is then finished by hand, one piece at a time, using a roller machine.
