The Story

Made in Wakayama, Japan, of 100% cotton on Sinker Weave Machines, which are capable of producing a heavier and denser fabric than loopwheel machines. Sinker machines were the natural successor to loopwheel machines due to their increased speed in fabric production.

This Heavyweight Hooded Sweatshirt is made from a 14oz. weight fabric that has been constructed horizontally opposed to vertically, a technique typically seen on sweatshirts from the 1950s era, giving the sweatshirt no seams on the shoulders. The sweatshirt has side gussets to combat against adjustment in size width ways after wash which was a common method in construction seen on sweatshirts from the 1950s.
